Our Process

 This free initial consultation is a time for us to meet with you and talk about your project. We get to know more about you, and your goals and ideas for your project. 

  Once we have had our initial meeting with you, we can provide you with a fee proposal for our services. This will include:

A detailed project brief and scope of services.  Advise on any other consultants required, eg engineer, surveyor etc. Indicative time frames, Our fee’s,

Our terms and conditions

  Once you are ready to move forward, we will make a site visit, and talk in further detail about your project. Depending on the circumstances this may have taken place at step 1

  At this stage we bring together council rules for the site and your design brief to present you with a bespoke concept. With sketches, floor plans and images, your project starts coming to life.

  After you have reviewed the initial concept we discuss your feedback and talk about any changes you would like to make. We will provide updated plans and images and finalise material selections.

At the end of this stage we have a completed design that we can move forward to consenting with

  Not all projects will need resource consent as its only required if any council rules are going to be breached. This will be identified at the pre-design and concept design stages. We will provide the documentation needed for resource consent application.

  Here is where we provide a complete set of plans, details and specifications to apply for building consent. Depending on the scope of your project we may also need input from other consultants. We will submit the building consent application to council for you.

  We will be the point of contact for any questions council may have. We will respond to any requests for further information from council in order to obtain council approval for your project.

  Our service doesn’t end when construction begins. We love getting on to site to see your project come to fruition. We are here to help with any questions your builder may have or if council require any further information.
